Martin Cave
Martin Cave is Director of the Centre for Management under Regulation at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, in the United Kingdom. Previously, he was Professor and Vice Principal at Brunel University in West London. He is an expert in competition law and policy, regulatory economics, and telecommunications. He is an adviser to Oftel, the U.K. telecommunications regulator, and is a member of the Competition Commission. He is also an adviser to Postcom, the U.K. postal regulator, and to the U.K.'s airport regulator. Dr. Cave has consulted to numerous firms in regulatory proceedings in network industries, as well as in antitrust and other commercial litigation.
Dr. Cave is the editor of the Handbook of Telecommunications Economics (Elsevier Science B.V., forthcoming 2001). He has published numerous articles in scholarly journals such as the Economic Journal, European Economic Review, Information Economics and Policy, and Oxford Review of Economic Policy.
Dr. Cave earned a B.A. (1969), a B.Phil. (1971), and a Ph.D. (1977) in economics from the University of Oxford.
Emilio Paolucci
Emilio Paolucci (Milan, 1965) is associate professor of Organization Theory and Business Management at the Department of Business and Production Engineering of Politecnico di Torino.
He graduated in Computer Science in 1989 at the Politecnico di Milano and holds a Master in Computer Science.
Emilio Paolucci is Co-Director of the Master programme in e-Business at Politecnico di Torino, and an associate editor of the International Journal of e-Business. He speaks English and has a working knowledge of German.
His research interests concern the relationships between ICT, business models and organization, both from a company and a public policy perspective. He has carried out assignments for private companies and government, and published articles in several academic journals, including: Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce, International Journal of Technology Management, Enterprise and Innovation Management Studies, Decision Support Systems, Interfaces, Small Business Economics.
